Spring's Relief

The bikes are out and in full use!

The birds are back and we love to use our binoculars to hunt them out!

I love spring!! I feel RELIEVED when spring arrives! The snow is gone and each day I love to go outside and check on the progress of my flowers. I love to plant some veggies and annuals. I love to feel the warm sun on my skin again!

Spring is a busy time with baseball games, soccer games, dance competitions and recitals. But it is also the time of year I see those activities wind down and I can see in the distance the "lazy days of summer" when our biggest decision each day is: "Where shall we swim today?"

School is winding down too and soon we will enjoy our summer schedule. During summer, each child will spend about 30 minutes a day on their weakest subject and fill their time with "non school" fun of hunting for birds and butterflies and reading books for the "fun of it!" The house is cleaner too since I have more time for the house with the relief from school.

Yes, to me, spring is spelled "R-E-L-I-E-F"!

Hi Karen! I'm so glad that you are experiencing spring in your area now. I, too, am enjoying the kids being able to get outside and use up some of the spring energy they get. Dh is putting in a garden for me at the new house...we'll be planting in a couple of weeks. It will be very nice!

I so agree with this post! It is wonderful to see grass again and to get out in the sunshine! School is almost done for us too. All the major subjects are over, and we're just finishing some last minute easy stuff! It's great!

I love spring too! Unfortunately, where we are, by now it's around 90 degrees. Ick. Oh well.

I really love spring as well. However, now we are experiencing summer temps--think 85-90 degrees! Karen, I am tagging you, so come check out my blog to see what you get to do!
